DEFINTIONS

1. “puppy” known as throughout his/ her lifetime for the purposes of this contract.

2. “re-home” to give to another person, as a gift or for money, intending for that other person to become the owner of that puppy or take on the day to day care of the puppy.

SELLER UNDERTAKES:

The puppy has been:

• HEALTH bred from parents who have: o below average hip scores for the breed, copies of which are in this booklet, and o clear eye certificates copies of which are in this booklet.

• TEMPERMENT socialised in accordance with Gwen Baileys: Perfect Puppy book, details of which are in this booklet.

SELLER RIGHTS

• FIRST REFUSAL If the Buyer needs to re-home the puppy at anytime in his/her lifetime the Buyer must contact the Seller in order to give the seller the option of having the puppy back o the Buyer will not receive any money back from giving the puppy back to the Seller.

• RESTRICT BREEDING To ensure the health of the breed, and to stop a dog being taken advantage of, a breeding restriction is placed upon an out going puppy which stops the progeny of the puppy being registered with the Kennel Club.

• RESTRICT EXPORT To protect the puppy, the puppy can not be exported out of the UK.

BUYER UNDERTAKES:

To ensure that the puppy is:

• HEALTH

o registered and taken to the vet when he/she appears to be unwell, o given the correct amount of exercise for the breed,  Given restricted exercise when under six months of age. o not left on their own for an excessive amount of time on any occasion, o groomed weekly and kept free of uncomfortable mats

• FEEDING o fed daily, a high quality, recognized diet for a dog of this size o provided with fresh water at all times

DISCLAIMERS:

HEALTH Although every pre-caution has been taken to ensure the health of the litter, the Seller can not guarantee that the puppy will not suffer from any health problems whatsoever in its lifetime and does not take any responsibility for any health problems should they arise.

TEMPERAMENT Although every pre-caution has been taken to ensure that the puppy will grow up with a good temperament, the Seller can not guarantee the puppy will have a good temperament and therefore does not take any responsibility for a derogative thereof.
