Fergus is from our first litter and his mum is Saffron. Fergus is a very relaxed sort of boy, he enjoys having a bath(!!) and playing. Fergus is part-aquatic and spends some of his day submerged in our pond (despite our best efforts to keep him out) and consequently he is always wet! Fergus loves his food, his favourite foods are curry and peperoni, the spicier the better.
Fergus loves to be naughty and run off with things, he comes to find you with his chosen item (usually something dirty and disgusting from the garden) so you can shout "Feeerrguuss!!!" at him- which he loves! He then likes to be chased and has out-witted everyone who has taken up the challenge of catching him! Ferg enjoys things been done for him and often pretends to require assistance when the tasks seem like too much effort, so we end up lifting him into the car or down the stairs, even though we have caught him doing it for himself when he thinks no one is looking!
Fergus enjoys training and going out to shows as he is a very sociable chap who likes making friends, human and canine, at home is he a laugh a minute sort of dog who can easily amuse everyone with his very laid back attitude to life!
Achievements
26/06/08: Puppy Foundation Certificate (which included a 10 second down stay! harder than it sounds for a puppy!)
24/08/08: Horley & District Open Show : 1st puppy, 2nd junior
07/09/08 Richmond Championship Show: 4th minor puppy
19/10/08 United Retriever Open Show: 2nd minor puppy
