Obedience training
There are many ways of training for obedience work, I follow different methods with Molly and Saffie. The heel work position for Molly is based on her knowing where it is when I say the word whereas for Saffie her whole training is based on following the hand. Only when dogs can follow the hand when its off the body, can we move it close to our body and into the heel position. In theory therefore, a dog will not make a mistake once on your leg.
